St. Stephen’s Church, Bexhill – Kitchen and toilets
The project was for the Internal reordering including two new toilets, one of which is accessible, and a new kitchen. The outdated toilets that served St. Stephens church were in the old community hall, meaning the congregation often found it inconvenient to visit them during a service. In addition, the PCC wanted to provide a modern kitchen to easily serve at regular events held within the church and bring the church to fuller community use.
This minimalistic and stylish intervention included a compact, oak-clad box occupying one corner of the church, containing both accessible toilets and a professional kitchen. The intervention was successfully completed within a short contract period.
